The PEPR DIADEM is launching the first edition of Young Scientists Day!

This day aims to bring together all the young scientists from the DIADEM consortium (doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, engineers and recently recruited permanent staff) to discuss common issues, particularly those related to data management and processing as well as the use of AI tools.

This day is organised in close collaboration with the DIAMOND targeted project, which is responsible for developing the digital infrastructure of the PEPR DIADEM.


The programme for the day includes:

- Plenary sessions in the morning :

• An introductory lecture on Artificial Intelligence in Materials Science
• A session dedicated to career prospects in Data Science
• A presentation of the tools developed by the DIAMOND project

- Demonstrations and practical work on DIAMOND tools, adapted to the different skill levels of participants (beginner, intermediate or advanced) in the afternoon.

- To finish the day, a speed dating session during which you will have the opportunity to discuss with DIAMOND project engineers the specific issues you encounter in your research projects.
